Wilco did an in-store set at Euclid Records the afternoon before their Aug. 17 show at The Fabulous Fox in St. Louis. Many moons ago, Jeff Tweedy worked at Euclid. I was asked to do a poster for the event — Yay! The band signed my copy, which you can view here.

Twangfest 2016 featured an incredible lineup that included James McMurtry, Alejandro Escovedo and The Waco Brothers. I love the artwork of Jon Langford. When he’s not making music in several of the bands he plays with (The Mekons, The Waco Brothers, The Three Johns) he creates fantastic illustrations. Jon was gracious enough to let us incorporate his art into this year’s look.

I always love working on pieces for Twangfest, St. Louis’ annual Americana country and roots rock music festival. They kick off the festival every year, not in St. Louis, but at The Broken Spoke in Austin during South by Southwest. Thanks to the guys at Heavy Metal Hill for use of the guitar and amps.
